Every year around the holidays my family piles up in the car and goes on an expedition to see all the best Christmas lights in the area. Every year there are always a few houses that stand above the rest. These, of course, are the houses with music synced light displays. Inspired by these spectacles of Christmas cheer, I set out to create my own holiday light show that I could play from my desk whenever I wanted. In doing so, I ended up with a program that could not only create holiday light shows, but light shows for any song!
